#7: WHAT HAPPENS REGULARLY WHICH WOULD HORRIFY A PERSON 100 YEARS AGO?

#7: WHAT HAPPENS REGULARLY WHICH WOULD HORRIFY A PERSON 100 YEARS AGO? A delicate and porcelain hand covers her ruby red lips as she gasps; horrified with what meets her gaze. Scantily clad women everywhere! A lady never dress that way. Oh my, what are those men wearing!? Surely this is a poor neighbourhood...right? Wrong. This is 2017, a totally different scene from that of 1917. Those 'scantily clad' women are in crop tops and short shorts. Normal casual dress code. Those men are wearing ripped jeans and hoodies. A normal scene in the city or anywhere else. But of course, this scene would horrify a person from the 1917, not suitable for faint-hearted ladies.

#6: WHAT'S THE WEIRDEST THING ABOUT MODERN LIFE THAT PEOPLE JUST ACCEPT AS NORMAL?

Honestly, I often do believe that I am living in the wrong generation. There are loads of things in the current generation which baffles me...especially the people. But, here's one of the weirdest thing to me: Humans are narcissist. With technology constantly evolving, especially through handphones and cameras, it also brings about the growth of egotistical individuals. I mean...does taking selfies at every chance you have sounds familiar? Does photographing every expensive things you buy just so you could post on social media sounds familiar? Excuse me for thinking that these actions are puzzling. I am just perplexed by the intensity of egoism that exists in many individuals, and the fact that many sees it as normal...probably because they practice it themselves. Believe me when I say that all those flaunting of wealth will get you the evil eye of many. Why don't we stay humble and slightly low-key in order to avoid bitter people in this world who would take advantag...

# 5: ONE OF YOUR FAVOURITE SHOWS

#5: ONE OF YOUR FAVOURITE SHOWS With it currently being in its mid-season finale of Season 4, Gotham has sealed its spot of my favourite Tv show. I was very much attracted to this Tv show, seeing that it references to the Batman story line from DC Comics. Obviously I could never say no to watching my favourite superhero in live action. However, what left me much intrigued was the fact that Gotham was not all about Batman and his years as a vigilante. It was about Gotham city itself. How it works. How it affects and develops its citizens to be who they are as a character. For example, the high level of criminals in Gotham resulted in an orphan Bruce Wayne, which developed him to become the Batman. Or even Selina Kyle (later Catwoman), who lives a harsh life in the Narrows, resulting her to the lifestyle of stealing. Each of these characters have their own stories, forming a deeper connection with its audience, allowing us an insight to the minds of villains and heroes. The...

#4: PUT YOUR MUSIC PLAYER ON SHUFFLE

#4: PUT YOUR MUSIC PLAYER ON SHUFFLE AND WRITE THE FIRST 3 SONGS THAT PLAY AND WHAT ARE YOUR INITIAL THOUGHTS ON IT. 1. TIME TO DANCE by Panic! At The Disco This happens to be my favourite track by one of my favourite band, from their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, back in 2005. Their lyrics tend to be much more poetic than usual, with use of double meanings and 'story lines'. Time To Dance is inspired by a book which the lead member read, thus heavily referencing their lines to lines from the book itself. I've always thought that their source of inspirations are interesting and unique, heavily differentiating themselves from the norm and mainstream artists. This song in particular is heavy in beat, really catchy and VERY different from any other bands or singers. IGNORANCE by Paramore Another favourite band and song of mine. This track always makes me edgy as it has this raw and rebellious energy. I love this song due to it being highly relatable, ...

#3: FAVOURITE COLOURS AND WHY

#3: FAVOURITE COLOURS AND WHY You may argue with me that Black is not a colour but a negative space, as many have debated. Still, I'll continue stating that Black is my favourite colour. Black has lots of meaning, depending on each individual, and to me, Black suggests depth. Something more than what meets the eye. Hidden layers. Its like being surrounded in darkness. All you see is the pitch black. Yet, you do know that there's more in that darkness. Its right there. You can't see it, but you can feel it. I guess this is how I see life as too. It's like wearing tinted glasses...if that makes sense. Other than that, Black suggests independence, mystery and strength.  Beside Black is Red. Specifically, darker shades of Red: Carmine, Scarlet, Maroon, Cardinal, just to name a few. Red is a bold and fierce colour. The deeper shades evokes a 'mature' and independent vibe to me. I always find myself in a dilemma between Black and Red.  Blue happens to b...

#2: FIVE PROBLEMS WITH SOCIAL MEDIA

# 2: FIVE PROBLEMS WITH SOCIAL MEDIA Having social media taking up 80% of our daily lives, (am I exaggerating? Don’t think so..) humans in general are immensely attached to it. That itself is a huge problem. This attachment has caused an increase in mental health issues. Addiction, jealousy, isolation are some words describing these issues that many are currently experiencing. It brings people’s confidence down while they compare themselves to fashion bloggers or A-list models. 100,000 followers does not mean 100,000 friends. If anything, it brings in a sense of isolation, decreasing social interaction (face-to-face). The green-eyed monster will find a place in you as you scroll down your Facebook or Instagram page, being hit by the feathers of peacocks flaunting their wealth and beauty. And you’ll still scroll through these egoistical exhibitionist's pictures and posts, building up jealousy while washing away your self-confidence. Or perhaps you’ll be like them too,...

#1: DISCUSS YOUR CURRENT RELATIONSHIP

Single. Never in a relationship. Never plan to be in one. It has never been a need for me to chain myself down to a romantic relationship as there are a thousand and one things that are more important to focus on and experience. I have always titled myself as a reserved girl, thus, It has always been a chore to let people in or let myself out. It has always been that way, and i can say that i am comfortable with it. Sure this current society is all about socialising and mingling to get to the top. But…. I’ll do it the way i want to. There never is just one way. Back to topic, many have raised an eyebrow at my stubborn streak and wish of not wanting to  be in a relationship . what they need to understand is that I'm nothing like them and they are nothing like me. They may have the urge and desire to settle down with a family and partner or perhaps get a trophy boyfriend: but not me. I don’t find myself ‘weird’ for wanting to live with my mother, all through my future, til d...
